I think the new cap with the flag set is 3.5 GB, not sure.
These files have been modded because there's a flag that can be set for 32bit executables to allow more than 2 GB of ram being used. Steam: ht tp:/Retail: ht tp:/-> remove the spacing exe versions, one for Steam, one for retail Soulstorm. You could test a clean reinstall: Backup these sub folders inside Soulstorm: If there have been any mods installed there might be issues due to these. Inside the Soulstorm folder there is a warnings.log file.
